Our Festival Worlds focus on celebrating the blending and realization of traditional street painting and chalk art in completely non traditional settings such those in virtual spaces where one can be who they want to be doing what they want to do in art friendly and supportive spaces.

The link to the Second Life space is our hi rise tower and pavement platform where the first of many in world street paintings will be displayed and mini festivals will launch and run.

4D and Metaverse

Creating 4D chalk art physically as well as in metaverse for a hybrid art experience.

We are sharing a recent video of an AR demo done by Anthony Cappetto as part of a larger segment on street art for JanusTV done live at Washington Square Park in New York City during a freezing morning in mid December of 2021. The segment was aired recently in Germany and across Europe.

We had to wait until now to share publicly between segment production and the onset of the war in Ukraine but was worth the wait. Special thanks to Igor Rosenfeld, Chefreporter and everyone at JanusTV for inviting me to be in their program.

Anthony Cappetto is Founder/Artist at Art for After Hours (AfAH) as well as co Founder/4D Digital Creator Chalk Artist at Innovative Street Painting Group (Innovativemetaverse).

Our artwork created at the 2022 Chalk Festival in Venice, Florida is dedicated to the People of Ukraine.

Thinking of not only the war that has brought near unspeakable horror known only until recently in the minds and experiences of the oldest members of our world society, but for artist friends the street painting community share and we have worked alongside in the USA and Europe over the years.

The Festival Theme was Resilience - sunflowers are resilient, bloom, and grow large annually. They are fitting as the National Flower of the Ukrainian People.

Working concurrently with traditional chalk on pavement and augmented reality Art for After Hours presents this 4D Chalk Art augmented reality public art installation.

HOW TO VIEW AUGMENTED REALITY:

Looking through an app driven view screen or monitor, viewers saw a hand painted backdrop of sunflowers in a box along with bees buzzing and hovering around the sunflowers drawn on the ground and the augmented reality illusion painted in the backdrop box beyond.

The bees and the box structures are either in blue or yellow representing the colors of Ukraine.

For our Ukrainian Friends.

May this War End.
